"My adventure in Nepal"

As a very experienced teacher I was lucky to be a member of an Australian group who visited Nepal through a Rotary friendship - community development and training project in April 2013. We worked with teachers from schools in the Maidi area providing teaching techniques and strategies that would more effectively support the learning needs of their students. It was my first trip to Nepal and my first experience of working in a volunteer capacity in another country. I found from the moment that I stepped off the plane in Kathmandu that I was totally supported and protected every step of the journey. Prakash met us at the airport and with a huge smile, that remained in place for the 2 weeks I was with him, he proceeded to make me feel at home and at ease. His organization of the trip was exceptional, both before we left Australia and then constantly within Nepal. He was aware of my needs personally and professionally and did his upmost to accommodate me. The camp within his village was well set up and when unpredictable events occurred, such as an electrical storm, Prakash ensured our safety at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending Prakash and Hike Himalaya to anyone who would like to visit Nepal and surrounding countries . You will feel at ease immediately and assured of a wonderful time. Go for it. Organize that trip today!

"Our Wonderful Experience in 2012 and 2013"

Thanks so much Prakash for the truly wonderful experience you organised for us again this year. Just like last year, everything was perfect! It was terrific to return to Nepal and especially your beautiful village of Maidi. The reception we received was just as overwhelmingly special as last year, but to see so many familiar friendly faces made it even more exciting. We plan to return in December 2014 and even though it will be so much colder than the beautiful weather we experienced in April both times, we can't wait to see you all again! Next year we hope to team teach in some of their classes and watch all the great strategies being implemented! Not only was everything exceptionally well organised in the village but it was wonderful to see the highlights of Kathmandu and then after our volunteering, the stunning areas of Pokhara and Bundipur. The accommodation we stayed in Nepal and Bhutan last year was outstanding but I think I have never stayed in such a wonderfully characterful hotel as we did in Bantipur. We still talk about the amazing foods that we had prepared for us each night while camping and all the extra services they did. I can't wait to get back to try more wonderful Newari food. We have travelled a lot but the times we spent with the best tour guide in Nepal remain our favourite!

Once again, thank you Prakash, Hike Himalaya Adventure and all the brilliant staffs for caring us so well and giving some of the greatest experiences.

Wonderful Trekking Experience?
Following a four day tour of Kathmandu and nearby communities we added a trekking experience with the help of Hike Himalaya Adventure. From the outset, tour operator Prakash Aryal worked very hard to answer the many questions we had and went above and beyond to help us create a customized trek and tour west of Kathmandu to Pokhara and trekking in the Annapurnas. With Prakash?s hard work, we put together a wonderful experience, that included low level four day trekking with specular mountain and countryside views. Our trekking guide Gyanu and Sherpa porter Ashok were a joy to be with. Their knowledge of the surroundings and expert skills made the trek interesting and fun. Hike Himalaya Adventure provided us with many beautiful memories and most satisfying experiences.

Rotary Volunteer Tour

During April 2013 we had the privilege or visiting Nepal and working with the wonderful villagers of the Dhading region. The entire experience, including the community work, internal travel and sightseeing in the beautiful Nepal was organised competently and timely by Hike Himalaya Thamel, Kathmandu. From the moment we arrived at Kathmandu airport we felt welcomed and at ease in the presence of our host, guide and organiser Prakash Aryal. Mr Aryal?s love and knowledge of the people, places and customs of Nepal is unsurpassed. We felt extremely safe and well briefed during every moment of our stay. Hike Himalaya employs a group of similarly minded people who attended to every aspect of our touring and translation needs. Hike Himalaya complemented their expertise by ensuring that we were always accommodated and catered for in establishments of the highest quality, cleanliness and service. The efforts of Hike Himalaya, Mr Aryal and his employees were the centrepoint of our very exciting and well organised Nepalese holiday. We have no hesitation in recommending their services to any travellers wishing to experience an authentic holiday where you meet and see the real Nepal.

Our group of 7 (Australian volunteers) had a brilliant time with HHA. Everything was very well organised, putting less responsibility on us - so all we had to do was conquer the grueling trekking each day. EBC + Gokyo was a great challenge with breathtaking scenery, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. But I know HHA also organise many other treks.

HHA came highly recommended from a friend who had completed the EBC trek with them before. Prakash was very helpful in putting our trip together, modifying it to our needs and getting the most out of the 15 days we had in the mountains. Gyanu, our guide, was a brilliant companion to have on the trek and always ensured we were well taken care of and having a great time.

Wow, what an adventure!

We had an amazing time. The fabulous Gyanu and Amar looked after us so well, even when I was suffering from altitude bad attitude. The porters were lovely and the guys behind the scene - Prakesh and Matt-astonishing, particularly in the hairy part of our trip. It was super easy to deal with this company, all questions were answered honestly and it was terrific value. I couldn't recommend them any higher. Thanks kids, you were awesome!!

Everest Base Camp Trek- November-2014

"The Best three weeks of my life"-
I have to first and foremost say a massive dhanyabad to the team, Matt, Prakash, Gyanu, Amar and all the amazing porters. I have never had so much fun. Our group started by spending a few days in Chitwan taking elephant rides through the jungle and then a jungle and village walk which was fantastic, such an adventure. We were shown some amazing places in Kathmandu too. The Great Boudha Stupa and the monkey temple and then set off on our EBC trek for 12 days. Everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Gyanu was one of the most professional, knowledgable and charismatic EBC leaders you could ask for and I truly believe that we were so blessed to have scored such an amazing guide to take us on our trek. I have fallen in love with Nepal. This was my first and will definitely not be my last trek. I urge everyone who reads this to explore Nepal with Hike Himalaya Adventure. You will be truly impressed.

I travelled to Nepal with one of my friends a few weeks ago. And we had trekked to Poonhill and Ghorepani which took us a total of 7 days starting from Kathmandu. Since the begenning we thought of planning our trek, we tried as many as tens of companies who would offer tours and adventures in the Himalayas! Among them, we aproached Hike Himalaya finally. And we must admit the truth that Prakash- it's director was very prompt, flexible and very clear in his reply which made us easy decide.Since the begenning to the end, he and his companies worked hard to make our holidays very memorable. Besides, the guide and our porter were very hospitable, knowledgable, cooperative. The sense of humour with the guide was truly remarkable. The food, the accommodation and the activities they offered us were great. Although it was a short visit, but it was amazing to be part of HHA's adventures!

So, we would not hesitate to highly recommend this company as we understood and experienced it's team is highly professional.

I recently completed a 16-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with the amazing tour company Hike Himalaya Adventure. The staff and tour guides provided me with impeccable service and catered to my every need. I can't say enough GREAT things about this company. Nepal is such a beautiful country with the most dignified people. There's a undercurrent of peace, harmony and simplicity there. Nepal is nature at its pristine best. All things and life seem natural in Nepal. I've never met so many helpful, accommodating people in one place in all my travels over the last 15 years. Nepalis truly live the meaning "Namaste". I feel completely blessed to have had the opportunity to visit Nepal and look forward to the next visit. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful country!

I and one of my friends went to Nepal made a trip to Poonhill and Ghorepani for 6 days with Hike Himalaya Adventure. It was such a well organized trip! All the things went so smoothly as we wished. The managing director of this company- Prakash was highly knowledgeable, understandable, friendly and hospitable. During the trek, our guide Gyanu and the porter were highly amazing, honest and helpful. We had really an amazing experience with this company. We would highly recommend this company for anyone coming to Nepal to use as your tour organizer. They are truly amazing!

Poonhill- Ghorepani Trek

Our guided tour with Hike Himalaya through Nepal was the best. We liked the variety of activities and interesting ways to experience the local culture especially in the smaller villages.Prakash is knowledgable, thoughtful and helpful. Accommodation and transport choices were suitable, clean and comfortable. I felt safe travelling with my teenage daughter meanwhile having so much fun. We could do as much or as little as we wished. We saw so much of this beautiful country over two weeks.Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful travelling experience.

I have had a range of experiences with Hike Himalaya and all of them have been provided with high quality service, efficiency and care for details.

Through Hike Himalaya I have been on 2 treks, Kathmandu Valley and the Annapurna Circuit. They were well organised and wonderful experiences. Each trek was tailored to suit our particular needs. There was flexibility for us to change the details as we pleased and all care was taken for our well-being and our safety. The guides were experienced, trustworthy and friendly. The opportunity to experience the raw beauty of Nepal with no hassles or worries was a unique and memorable experience.
To finish up our Annapurna Trek, Hike Himalaya organised for us to go paragliding in Pokhara. It was the perfect way to finish our trip, it all went smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Hike Himalaya also organised for us a cooking and cultural course which was absolutely fabulous. We learnt to make some traditional Nepali dishes (including momo's) as well as experiencing typical Nepali house and family life. Very cool.

Hike Himalaya were also the organisers for a volunteer program that I was part of in the village of Maidi, in the Dhading region of Nepal. The founder of the company, Prakash, was the instigator and co-organiser of this amazing program, of which the aim was to bring higher literacy rates to the poorer regions of Nepal. This program also brought proffesionals from Australia to provide vocational training the people of this region in the areas of education, women's health and mental health, modern building techniques, physiotherapy and farming The success of this program amongst the many projects in Nepal is second to none, with the Australian Ambassador opening and endorsing the program. I have not come across a company with such a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and ensuring a commitment to the local community.

If you are after a genuine and unique experience for your trip to Nepal, I highly reccomend Hike Himalaya to guide you on your journey and provide you with incredible activities in this beautiful country.

Wow. What a fantastic time my wife and I have had in Nepal thanks to Prakash and the Hike Himalaya Adventure team. We began our time in Nepal with a volunteering program based in the Maidi village, where we were involved in vocational teaching and health programs. This was a sustainable program which is making a massive impact on the area and will continue to do so in 2015. Aside from the volunteering program, Hike Himalaya Adventure organized for us a number of activities including a Kathmandu city tour and valley trek, Annapurna Circuit trek and paragliding in Pokhora. We were overwhelmed with the flexibility and transparency offered by Prakash and his team. All details were covered which give us peace of mind and enabled us to just relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this country. I would have no hesitations in recommending Hike Himalaya Adventure to anyone to organize volunteering, tours and trekking.
